Our Programs & Classes

Students and enthusiasts of martial arts have many reasons for their interest in the martial arts. Some are drawn to the physical fitness and weight-loss aspects of training. Others seek to add discipline and self control to their lives. While still others are concerned about safety and self-defense.

After School Tae Kwon Do (click for info)
Why pay someone to watch your child play. Give them the benefit of learning Taekwondo. They will also learn life lessons, respect for themselves / others, and obtain physical fitness in a controlled environment with discipline and structure (we are not a daycare). Give them a gift that they will take with them their entire life. The children will be picked up at their school and transported to our facility. Once there they will have a snack and some rest time. They will then put on their uniforms and attend a one hour Taekwondo class daily. After their class they will have homework and activity time.

Our Summer Camp (click for info) is a great way for energetic kids to safely channel their energy during summer break. Parents have the comfort of knowing that even in the summer their children are continuing to learn in a safe and stimulating environment. Your child can spend his or her summer enjoying a variety of martial arts, and non-martial arts related activities, games, and field trips.


 


Tae Kwon Do (Kids)
The study of Tae Kwon Do is not only physical but one develops a sense of ethics and mental discipline as well. Tae Kwon Do improves your self-esteem so that all aspects of life are improved. Tae Kwon Do has been recognized as an Olympic Sport by the International Olympic Committee. The kids classes will focus on striking, kicking, blocking, one step sparring, self-defense, and poomse. The kids program will also incorporate focus, control, self confidence, anger management, stranger danger, and no bully tactics.

Tae Kwon Do (Adults)
The study of Tae Kwon Do is not only physical but one develops a sense of ethics and mental discipline as well. Tae Kwon Do improves your self-esteem so that all aspects of life are improved. Tae Kwon Do has been recognized as an Olympic Sport by the International Olympic Committee. The adult Tae Kwon Do program consists of striking, kicking, blocking, one step sparring, self-defense, and poomse. Our classes are a great cardio workout. We use the term EXERCISE WITH A PURPOSE.

Tae Kwon Do Sparring
This is an Olympic style WTF sparring class. The instruction of the sparring class focuses on movement drills, combinations, timing, counter drills, and ring control. Many of our students compete at Local, State, Regional, and National tournaments.

Hap Ki Do
Hap Ki Do is sometimes referred to as the gentle art of self-defense. Hapkido is a counter-attack method of self-defense based on understanding the vital points and bio kinetics of the Human body. This Martial Art is a 30% offensive and 70% defensive form of self-defense. Hapkido incorporates striking, kicking, joint locks, pressure point control, sweeps, throws, and ground techniques. Students also learn the art of rolling and falling.
